Vietnamese Foreign Trade under the French Domination (1897-1914) though British Archives

By applying the qualitative method based on data from reports of the British embassy in Vietnam, this article analyses and presents the change and development of trade of French Vietnam in the period 1897-1914 from the third perspective, regarding fundamental information about the value of importing-exporting activities, commercial products, markets and foreign trading ships in Vietnam.
By doing so, we argue two main points that i) the improvement of Vietnamese foreign trade in both data of commercial benefit and market before the first World War I and ii) the involvement of Vietnam into the global trading network under the role of French and European merchants. Besides, this article also argues the colonial characteristic Vietnamese overseas trade by analyzing the ratio between export and import, the situation of Vietnamese exporting products and its dependence on French economy.
Duy Tân King in the Charles de Gaulle's Policy towards Indochina

Eight months after coming back to Paris, the provisional government of the French Republic, led by Charles de Gaulle, pronounced the declaration on 24 March 1945 to present the French policies towards Indochina and assert French sovereignty over Indochina. This policy was immediately implemented after the end of the World War II and continued by Thierry d’Argenlieu and Leclerc after de Gaulle left his power.
During the progress of performing this policy, de Gaulle envisaged exploiting the ex-king Duy Tân as a political solution in Vietnam. On 14 December 1945, they met once only in Paris before Duy Tan’s death in a crashed plane in the Central African Republic on 26 December causing that de Gaulle’s plan was failed. This article focuses on analyzing and evaluating de Gaulle’s policy towards Indochina during his preparation for “the Duy Tân card” from March to December 1945.

From the time of sending their troops in Vietnam in August 1945 to their withdrawal in September 1946, the Chiang army occupied a number of places, using many vicious tricks to destroy the Vietnamese revolutionary government. However, with the motto of "unvaried use to response all change" the Vietnamese revolution under the leadership of the Party, President Ho Chi Minh applied smart policies, both flexible, tough and rigid and determined in order to defeat Chiang's conspiracy, forcing them to bring their troops home.

In the face of political and military failures after 10 years of conducting the aggression war of Vietnam, from the beginning of 1965, the United States implemented the Local War strategy with the strengthening of US and Allied Army in South Vietnam. In urban areas, the Party Central Committee further affirmed the role of the political movement of the mass, the core of which was the workers' movement. In this article, we seek to address the development of the movement in the urban area of Saigon - Gia Dinh against the US and the Sai Gon government's local war strategy. It is focused on analyzing typical struggles; and in doing so it is to draw judgments about the movement.

The purpose of the article is to clarify the conclusion, content and the results of the effective implementation of the Agreement on reconstruction of Vinh City, Nghe An province after the war during 1973-1980 between the Government of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam) and the Government of the Democratic Republic of Germany (now the Federal Republic of Germany). The issue of economic, culture, science and technology and training of high quality labor resources cooperation in the context of international cooperation is then taking place increasingly comprehensive on a global scale today.

By analyzing India's foreign policy shift under the term of office of Modi(India) and foreign affairs priorities of Sri Lanka, the article seeks to point out that convergence of interests is the most important factor promoting bilateral relations. Other such factors as Chinese factors, past cooperation, political and security instability in Sri Lanka, especially ethnic issues, power imbalances in South Asia are also reviewed under the impact of the regional context and the foreign policy of the two countries.

In Giang Son 10 hamlet, Ha Son commune, Ha Trung district, Thanh Hoa province, a tombstone was buried deeply in the ground and recorded about a high-ranking mandarin, general, Hoa Lam marquis of the Early Le dynasty. He was the ninth son of Hien Nghia Vuong Trinh Kha, a famous general of the Lam Son insurrection, a national hero of the Late Le dynasty, hometown in Vinh Hoa commune, Vinh Loc district, Thanh Hoa province today.
With the historical value, it provides us with some more facts of the country of Le Thanh Tong dynasty and it contributes to Trinh family, descendant of Hien KhanhVuong Trinh Kha genealogical detailed notes.
